Category Manager
Our client, a growing international renewable-energy organisation, is seeking a Category Manager to join their procurement team in Madrid.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in the sourcing and supplier management of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), supporting the delivery of large-scale clean-energy projects. This is a strategic procurement position with strong exposure to engineering, commercial, and project-execution teams.
Duties Include
Supporting purchasing and sourcing activities for energy-storage equipment
Coordinating bid / tender processes and evaluate supplier proposals
Maintaining relationships with key vendors and monitor ongoing performance
Gathering market intelligence on pricing, technology trends, and supply-chain developments
Assisting with commercial reviews and internal documentation
Collaborating with engineering and project teams to align technical requirements with procurement needs
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
A degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Essential : experience working in the renewable-energy sector
Background in procurement, sourcing, or category management
Fluency in English; additional languages beneficial
