Residence and work permit in Spain
Fluency in Spanish and English
Experience in education sector with adolescents or North Americans (Minimum 2 years)
Experience in a management position (Minimum 2 years)
What you will do:
The Program Coordinator (PC) will support the Program Manager (PM) in successfully leading CIEE Palma's High School program according to the vision and mission set for Summer 2026.
The job will be both administrative (i.e. it will involve a great deal of office work) and active (e.g. the Program Coordinator both organizes and joins/runs student activities). Office work includes building the schedules, grouping the students, preparation for activities and serving as the Academic Assistant. Active work includes occasional hiking, responding to student incidents, and chaperoning excursions. Additionally, the PC will supervise a team of about 8 people during peak season.
As is required of all CIEE employees, the PC will be trained in and abide by CIEE's health and safety protocols, so that they can respond effectively (and correctly) to ensure a healthy, safe, inclusive environment for all students.
What you'll bring:
University degree
At least two years of experience in a similar sector
Fluency in Spanish and English (written and oral)
Enjoy working with people and have strong professional, intercultural, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent Organizational and time management skills, including delegating and self-pacing
Ability and willingness to remain versátil, shifting between projects based on the seasonality of the program, with a proactive attitude, and eager to provide support to different business areas
Meticulous attention to detail in a very fast-paced environment
Strong awareness of inclusion for diversity, equity, and accessibility
Fast learner of new technology, systems, procedures, and policies
Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Commitment to restorative justice in education (included in training)
