Lead end-to-end migration projects from on-premise Teradata environments to modern, scalable AWS data solutions.Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect with strong expertise in cloud data migration to lead the transition from Teradata on-premise systems to AWS-based architectures. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and services using tools such as Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, and Lambda, ensuring a secure and efficient migration process. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with strong cross-functional collaboration and project ownership.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute comprehensive migration strategies from Teradata to AWS.Assess existing on-premise data architectures and build migration roadmaps aligned with business goals.Redesign and optimize ETL processes using AWS services (Glue, EMR, Redshift, etc.).Ensure end-to-end data integrity, security, and performance throughout the migration.Automate infrastructure deployment using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.Act as a liaison across business, security, networking, and development teams to ensure alignment.Oversee testing, validation, and post-migration support, ensuring SLAs are met.Produce clear documentation and support knowledge transfer to internal teams.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong knowledge of Teradata Vantage architecture and ecosystem.Advanced expertise in AWS data services :
Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR.Hands-on experience with IaC tools :
