Job Summary
As a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Consultant, you will provide specialized care to expectant mothers and their unborn children, focusing on high-risk pregnancies. Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing pregnancy complications, conducting assessments, and developing care plans. The role involves collaboration with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal maternal and fetal health outcomes. Additionally, you will educate patients and families about pregnancy-related issues and participate in research and training initiatives to advance maternal-fetal medicine. Strong communication, clinical expertise, and compassion are essential.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality maternal-fetal medicine care.
* Offer consultative services as requested.
* Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
* Participate in training, teaching, research, and administrative activities.
* Perform special procedures as privileged.
* Follow hospital policies and procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
* Graduate from a reputable medical school.
* Completion of training in maternal-fetal medicine (MFM).
* Board certification or equivalent from recognized boards (e.g., American Board, FRCS, Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand, Australian, Diplôme d'Études Spécialisées, CIS French Board, Facharzt, Sub-Board, Fellowship).
* Recognition by the Saudi Commission is mandatory; Dataflow verification required.
Professional Experience
* Minimum 3-4 years post-fellowship experience in fetal-maternal medicine.
* Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.
Language Proficiency
Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
