The Field Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing business plans to achieve revenue and margin targets and to maximize profits in their sales region. In addition, they ensure efficient and effective day‑to‑day operations, promote clear and open communication, and support the implementation of core company values.
Your responsibilities
Implement the company’s sales strategy into concrete operational activities to achieve targets in revenue, customer satisfaction, margin, and profit growth.
Develop individual regional and dealer plans together with field sales representatives.
Jointly develop strategies to achieve targets related to customers, product groups, and services.
Coordinate closely with field sales staff regarding market development.
Analyze the performance of the field sales team with A, B, and C customers (using KPIs).
Support the development, monitoring, and adjustment of budget plans for field sales staff and align on strategies to fully leverage target customer potential.
Manage and expand selected key account customers.
Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including inside sales, the e‑business team, assortment management, and pricing management.
Analyze and identify opportunities, market developments, sales approaches, and new business possibilities.
Support the improvement of sales processes, tools, and methodologies.
Initiate and participate in local and international sales projects.
Lead a field sales team and coach staff through regular joint customer visits and performance reviews.
Identify talent and continuously develop the sales team within your area of responsibility.
Support and guide change processes.
Who are you?
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration or a comparable qualification.
Strong knowledge of markets, customers, and sales, ideally in the agri‑business sector.
Excellent analytical skills.
Leadership ability, solution‑oriented thinking, creativity, and self‑reflection.
Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Portuguese is a strong plus. xpzdshu
Willingness to travel throughout northern Spain, with a weekly on‑site presence in Madrid and Fridays designated for remote work.
