Global Ingredient Supply Planning Manager - Sant Celoni - Your Future Position
Overall Mission:
Ensure seamless supply chain operations by aligning demand and supply strategies for a dedicated portfolio of Ingredients (Ambrofix family). Collaborate with the commercial team, Formula Management, and Global Demand to validate accurate demand forecasts. Work closely with local Operations, external toller companies, regional transportation teams, and other relevant areas to develop and implement supply plans that guarantee product availability, improve supply chain efficiency, and optimize inventory levels to meet customer expectations. Based in Sant Celoni, Spain, reporting to the Global Head of Ingredients Supply Chain.
Responsibilities:
* Design and execute supply chain strategies in collaboration with Operations and Procurement, providing capacity inputs for global plans, and leading supply operations.
* Manage participation in the S&OP process across various departments, contribute to projects improving supply, planning systems, and business strategy, and support risk management, budgeting, and crisis response.
* Act as an escalation point for resolving problems, complaints, and prioritization issues, including global allocation, conducting root cause analysis, and engaging with sites and regions to ensure supply security.
* Analyze and implement globally optimized inventory and cost improvements, address supply risks, and support global supply chain processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
* MBA or Master’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.
* 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations with a background in supply chain planning, quality, or materials management, including systems implementation.
* 2-5 years of stakeholder or partner management experience.
* Desired experience as a Supply Planner in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or similar industries.
* Expertise in Supply Planning, knowledge of Supply Chain, APICS Certification is a plus.
* Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, BI, BO, IBP), forecasting models, advanced Excel skills, and fluency in English and Spanish; French and Catalan are desirable.
