Experience
At least 2-5 years of experience in food system transformation, health promotion and other experiences related to nutrition, agri-food sector or environmental sciences.

Education and field of expertise
Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, social / political sciences, environmental sciences, food systems or a related field. Master’s degree in public health, food policy, sustainability or related areas will be highly valued.
With the support of three EU funded projects (FoodCLIC, Foster and CleverFood), you will facilitate the implementation of community-based pilots with systems innovation and multi-stakeholder approaches to improve access to healthy and sustainable food and dietary habits in urban food environments. You will also contribute to the strategic and operational coordination of a policy innovation process through multi-stakeholder and multi-level workshops.
This position involves working closely with a diversity of community actors, local authorities and research institutions. It also requires a strategic vision, the ability to translate complex topics into engaging formats, and to support participatory processes in collaboration with diverse partners.
Job duties
* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and promote collaboration among stakeholders (e.G. community leaders, food producers and retailers, administration technicians, healthcare suppliers, food redistribution entities and social entrepreneurship experts).
* Coordinate, design and implement community-based activities to improve dietary habits and access to healthy and sustainable food in local food environments.
* Organize coordination meetings with stakeholders and working groups.
* Supervise communication tasks and organize activities involving influencers.
* Coordinate and participate in evaluation and monitoring activities.
* Draft technical and narrative reports to share project progress and results.
* Map inspiring community initiatives and communication / education assets.
* Implement other tasks related to food system transformation required by different EU funded projects where IrsiCaixa participates.
Candidate profile and qualifications
* University degree in one of the relevant fields of expertise or equivalent qualification.
* Knowledge of the food sector and food-related public policies, especially in the Catalan context.
* Availability to travel occasionally.
* Experience in facilitating participatory processes and engaging with public institutions and food / environmental sector actors.
* Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary teams and managing collaborative projects.
* Strong writing, reporting, and communication skills.
* Teamwork, problem-solving, and commitment to community engagement.
