The Resistance, Chemotherapy and Predictive Biomarkers research group within the Cancer Area is seeking to recruit a senior laboratory technician. Previous experience in a similar role within a cancer research group is required, including experience with cell culture, genetic manipulation techniques (CRISPR/Cas9), in vitro cytotoxicity assays, qPCR, and western blotting. Knowledge of cancer immunology and participation in scientific publications will be considered a strong asset.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical support for the group’s research activities
Contribute to the writing of experimental protocols
Represent the team in lab management meetings
Prepare reports on research results
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine or a related field
Master's degree in Biomedicine or a related field will be valued
English level C1 (minimum B2 or equivalent certification required)
Experience in at least some of the techniques described above
