This role can be based at our sites in Palafolls or Esplugues.
About the role :
Supporting the global business, its brands, and products by providing expert legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on matters including Corporate Secretary (CoSec), Compliance, IP, Employment, GDPR, and contract review.
Responsibilities :
* Provide legal advice on company secretarial matters (CoSec) in accordance with UK company law, liaising with internal departments, subsidiaries, and external providers.
* Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including data protection, intellectual property rights, and competition law; conduct investigations based on whistleblowing cases.
* Assist in developing and implementing company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
* Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts such as commercial, service, supply, license, and NDAs.
* Stay informed on legal developments and industry trends to mitigate risks.
* Provide legal training and advice on compliance, ethics, and best practices.
* Collaborate with the Legal Team and external advisors on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions, including due diligence and agreement structuring.
* Assist in managing legal disputes or litigation involving the company.
* Perform routine legal advice and tasks as needed.
About you :
* Preferably UK-qualified solicitor with at least three years’ post-qualification experience.
* Fluent in English; professional-level Spanish is desirable.
* Experience in an international manufacturing environment is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently and in a team; strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
* Committed to providing high-quality service and responsiveness to support business objectives.
* Willingness to develop legal expertise in new jurisdictions and fields.
