About this opportunity brSenior professional responsible for advising a client on health safety issues relating to a large construction projects, from project initiation to completion. brKindly provide your CV in English. brResponsibilities include but are not limited to: brSupporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives. brPositively engaging with Customers and developing, growing and maintaining Customer relationships. brDelivering high-quality services and ensuring that project management and/or programme management deliverables meet Customers' requirements and business procedures. brMonitoring and working with the principal contractor appointed to complete the project; brAttending regular meetings with the principal contractor; brProviding support and assistance to the principal contractor and contractors on site; brPositively engaging with our client and developing, growing and maintaining our relationship; brDelivering a high quality service which ensures that services meet our client's requirement; brManaging the client's health safety obligations on the project to deliver a high quality service; brAdvising and assisting the client with their duties under the construction related health and safety standards, regulations and legislations; brAssisting with the coordination of health and safety aspects of design work; brCooperating with others involved with the project; brFacilitating good communication between the client, designers and contractors; brLiaising with the principal contractor regarding ongoing design work; brProducing and presenting regular reports to our main client – this will involve prompt flash reports of major issues as well as comprehensive weekly and monthly reports detailing all aspects of health and safety management on site; brMentoring and coaching employees so that they realise their full potential; brPreparing bids for services; brAdvising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or will arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance; As a Gleeds team member, you will have access to: brOpportunities to develop and grow your career brEmployee Assistance Programme Who we're looking for: brExperience, Knowledge And Key Skills br10+ years of construction-related health and safety management experience. brExperience in industrial, energy or data centre construction projects with a similar job function. brExperience in delivering services on a live construction site in Spain. brSound knowledge of construction-related health and safety regulations and standards, as well as international best practices. brCohesive knowledge of construction methods. brThorough understanding of national health and safety legislation relating to construction. brExcellent communication skills – both oral and written. brCompetent ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point. brAbility to work as part of a team and lead teams. brProficiency in English and Spanish. brEligible to work in Spain. brNational mobility - available to work in various regions.
