About the role:
As a Business Analyst, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project focused on delivering high-quality software solutions, optimizing business processes, and ensuring that product requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Backlog Management: Take full ownership of project backlogs, leading regular grooming and prioritization sessions to ensure team alignment
- Requirement Engineering: Write concise, high-impact User Stories following INVEST criteria, moving beyond traditional use cases
- Acceptance Criteria: Define precise and accurate acceptance criteria to guide developers and support test automation frameworks
- Needs Analysis: Evaluate information from multiple sources to distinguish between user requests and actual business needs, ensuring the right features are built
- Stakeholder Interfacing: Act as a consultant for internal and external clients, analyzing current business and software development processes to identify improvements
- Product Advocacy: Demonstrate software solutions during pre-sales opportunities and client reviews to validate that requirements meet business goals
- Agile Leadership: Foster and apply Agile principles and methodologies for requirement gathering and project execution
- Technical Support & QA: Leverage knowledge of .NET development to assist the team and perform basic QA tasks to ensure software quality and alignment with intent
- Change Management: Participate in managing scope changes and assessing their impact on project costs
Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in requirement elicitation, documentation, and prioritization techniques
- Technical Literacy: General knowledge of software development and familiarity with the .NET stack
- Tools: Hands-on experience with Jira for backlog management and bug reporting
- Documentation Skills: Ability to write straight-to-the-point documentation, user stories, and technical reports
- Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization
Desirable:
- Experience working in pre-sales activities and client-facing demonstrations
- Experience supporting QA activities within development teams
