Position OverviewThe Application Support team within the Information Technology (IT) department manages the application systems used at HWR Berlin in Campus Management and HRM, supporting users in system usage. Currently, the team is implementing the d.Velop document management system to enhance processes in these areas. To strengthen the team, we are hiring a permanent specialist administrator (m / f / d) with 100% of the regular weekly working hours. Code number 020N_2025.
Responsibilities
Ensure specialist administration in the regular operation of the systems, in collaboration with colleagues.
Manage change processes for system development, with documentation in German.
Support the specialist administration with processes in the central document management system (DMS).
Assist users in the departments with system usage.
Determine specific system focus areas in consultation post-hire to best utilize skills and interests.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree or diploma from a university of applied sciences in computer science, business informatics, administrative informatics, or similar.
Experience in the specialist administration of complex IT systems.
Knowledge in server operating systems, databases (PostgreSQL), and document management systems (desirable d.Velop).
Independent, structured, goal-oriented, reliable work with an analytical mindset.
Flexible, able to work under pressure, and service-oriented.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German and English.
