Automation Engineer – QA Automation
Join Sage's Barcelona team as a QA Automation Engineer. We're building a large‐scale, complex software project and need a highly analytical, self‐driven engineer to design and implement a robust automation strategy.
Responsibilities
Research and understand the existing system and QA landscape.
Define and implement a scalable test automation strategy.
Design, establish, and maintain a test automation framework.
Automate regression and ongoing sprint test cases.
Maintain and improve existing automated tests.
Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines.
Mentor and support other QA engineers in automation practices.
Requirements
Extensive experience in QA, including test automation.
Strong understanding of automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.).
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JS/TS, or C#).
Hands‐on experience with Git, API testing, CI/CD, and test management tools.
Analytical thinker with strong problem‐solving skills.
Excellent communication and ability to work independently and lead by example.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
Nice to Have
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
Knowledge of performance and/or security testing.
ISTQB certification or equivalent.
