YOUR MISSION
Efficiently manage accounts payable to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payments, maintaining precise records, and optimizing cash flow through the receipt, verification, recording, and reconciliation of invoices, as well as ongoing communication with vendors to maintain strong commercial relationships and ensure regulatory compliance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Invoice Receipt and Validation: Receive, scan, and validate vendor invoices, matching them against purchase orders and receipts to ensure accuracy of amounts, dates, and terms.
Accounting Entry: Record approved invoices in the accounting system, assigning the correct general ledger accounts.
Reconciliation: Review and reconcile vendor account balances with statements to ensure the accuracy of records.
Payment Management: Schedule and execute vendor payments by due dates, balancing timely payments with liquidity management.
Due Date Monitoring: Monitor overdue invoices and analyze root causes to prevent delays, penalties, and interest charges.
Filing and Documentation: Maintain an organized and complete archive of all Accounts Payable documentation (invoices, receipts, etc.).
Financial Reporting: Prepare management reports on outstanding liabilities, payments, and cash flow requirements.
THE SKILLS YOU'LL NEED
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience working with an ERP system
Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish
