Purpose of the Role
You are part of the security team and responsible for the further development of the IT security strategy, both for our customers and internally at A1 Digital.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Expert Information Security, you will take on technical responsibility in customer projects, supporting our customers in the following areas:
* Development and maintenance of security guidelines and co-design of the company-wide security strategy
* Identifying, evaluating, and managing information security risks
* Regular protection needs analyses with subsequent derivation of measures
* Further development and operational implementation of an information security management system (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001
* Planning and conducting audits, or providing support for certifications in the area of information security (such as ISO27001, NIS audits, DORA, TISAX)
* Conducting customer workshops and actively participating in internal and external committees
* Strategic customer consulting in the area of IT security architectures (including IT/IoT/OT system designs)
* Creation of individual security concepts and solutions
* Support in compliance with legal requirements (e.G., NIS Act)
* Close cooperation with the A1 Digital Security Team to further develop the information security portfolio
* Observation and evaluation of current trends, technologies, and standards in cybersecurity
* If necessary, your expertise will also be called upon for internal activities within A1 Digital (e.G., conducting internal audits, supporting the internal ISM
Required Skills and Experience
* Completed training in IT, information security, or comparable qualification;
recognized certifications (e.G., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, NIS auditor, etc.)
* Several years of professional experience (at least 7 years) in information security and IT security consulting
* In-depth knowledge of common standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS/NIS2, NIST, etc.
* Experience in the design and implementation of security architectures and ISMS
* Strong analytical skills, structured approach to work, and excellent communication skills
* Experience in customer consulting, project management, and security concept development
* Very good written and spoken English skills (German is a plus)
