Summary
The Revenue Accounting Senior Manager is a critical leadership role within our organization. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of revenue accounting policies, with a primary focus on IFRS 15 compliance in the Hospitality business that includes two main revenue accounting models, subscription and transactional. The successful candidate will serve as the principal authority on revenue accounting matters, ensuring that our hospitality operations consistently adhere to current standards and best practices. This role is pivotal in supporting the integrity of our financial reporting and maintaining stakeholder confidence.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the company’s revenue accounting policy, ensuring ongoing compliance with IFRS 15 and other relevant standards.
- Analyze complex revenue accounting issues and provide clear, actionable guidance to finance teams and business partners across multiple jurisdictions.
- Act as the primary contact for all revenue accounting topics internally, addressing inquiries and supporting business initiatives involving revenue recognition for the Hospitality business for subscription and transactional models.
- Collaborate closely with the Integral Process Owner (GPO) and Business Process Owner (BPO) for Record-to-Report (R2R) to ensure alignment between policy and operational processes.
- Monitor emerging regulations and changes in IFRS, proactively updating policies and communicating impacts to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training materials to enhance revenue accounting knowledge across the organization, focusing on the hospitality business.
- Support internal and external audits related to revenue recognition and policy compliance of the hospitality business.
- Full participation in the SAP RAR implementation.
- Participate in corporate projects as required.
About The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional qualification required.
- Extensive experience (typically 15+ years) in IFRS, with a strong focus on IFRS 15 application and compliance.
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and resolving complex revenue recognition issues in a global, multi-entity environment.
- Proven track record of policy development and implementation in a large, multinational corporation.
- Experience in the implementation of new ERP modules.
- User-level knowledge of Zuora Revenue (RevPro) to review revenue recognition processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support accurate financial reporting for subscription-based models would be a plus.
