Sales Manager – Animal Nutrition
Location: Spain (Madrid Area)
ADM is looking for a Sales Manager to lead its Animal Nutrition business across Iberia, Cyprus, Malta, and Greece. This role covers a large region and focuses on both maintaining existing business and growing our market share.
You will be responsible for developing sales of a broad portfolio including feed additives, ingredients, and premixes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow the Animal Nutrition business in the region
- Manage technical sales activities, including Key Accounts
- Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships
- Identify and develop new business and partnerships
- Gain a solid understanding of the product portfolio
- Define and deliver sales plans and budgets based on market needs
- Build and implement a 3–5 year business plan
- Provide monthly reporting, sales analysis, and clear action plans
- Work with product management, application, and R&D; to develop customer solutions
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs
- Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives in the region
- Work closely with technical support, customer service/logistics, product management, marketing, and controlling
Profile & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Veterinary Science, or Business
- Knowledge of animal nutrition and its applications is preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in Animal Nutrition or Feed Ingredients
- Strong focus on business development
- Good negotiation skills
- Able to work independently and stay organized
- Comfortable working in a cross‑functional and remote team setup
- Able to handle pressure and take initiative
- Customer‑focused
- Experience in a matrix organization and international environment
- Willingness to travel across the region
- Fluent in English
