PBureau Technical Services (BTS) is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join a major data centre project in Zaragoza, Spain. /ppbr/ppThis position will support the planning, scheduling, coordination and execution of full lifecycle commissioning activities across critical data centre facilities. It will also involve participation in the MEP design process, witnessing static and dynamic testing of complex electrical and control systems, and supporting systems through normal operation, maintenance and failure mode testing. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities: /b /ppbr/pulliSupport the full commissioning lifecycle across mission critical facilities /liliParticipate in the MEP design and commissioning process /liliWitness and support static and dynamic testing of complex electrical and control systems /liliAssist with operating systems in normal, maintenance and failure modes /liliCarry out commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of critical electrical systems and subsystems /liliSupport FAT, SAT, IST and commissioning activities across the project lifecycle /li /ulpbr/ppbRequirements: /b /ppbr/pulliDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience /liliExperience in installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical distribution systems /liliStrong knowledge of HV / MV / LV systems within mission critical environments /liliExperience with transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS and STS systems /liliKnowledge of electrical protection systems and power distribution infrastructure /liliExperience with EPMS, SCADA, PLC or other control and instrumentation systems /liliAbility to interpret raw electrical signal data and waveforms /liliKnowledge of networks and communication systems such as BACnet, Modbus and Ethernet /liliExperience within mission critical facilities / data centres /lili3+ years of commissioning experience /lili3+ years of data centre experience /liliRight to work in Spain / EU work authorisation required /li /ulpbr/ppbDesirable Experience: /b /ppbr/pulliExposure to L2–L5 commissioning activities /liliExperience with Integrated Systems Testing (IST) /liliHands-on commissioning and fault-finding experience /liliKnowledge of load bank testing and electrical infrastructure testing procedures /li /ul
