You will be the person leading our expansion into the hotel sector in Spain. If you build it right, you won't be the last
Spain is a huge hotel market, but our focus is not large corporate structures. Our market is independent hotels, boutique hotels, hostels, and small hotel groups that want to professionalize their operations, optimize resources, and deliver an outstanding guest experience without increasing headcount.
This is where UpMarket makes the difference. Our technology enables these hotels to automate the guest experience, reduce operational workload, and increase revenue without adding complexity.
We've already proven it works. Now we're looking for the person who will scale it in Spain and turn this segment into a solid, predictable growth channel.
We have a proven product, strong integrations, and real traction. What we need is someone who can open the right doors, activate strategic relationships, and close meaningful deals.
What you'll do
* Open and develop the hotel market in Spain, focusing on independent hotels, boutique hotels, hostels, and small groups.
* Build pipeline from scratch within our customer segment.
* Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, proposal, and close.
* Deliver high-impact product demonstrations, both virtual and in person.
* Sell to hotel owners, general managers, and operations leaders.
* Represent UpMarket at key industry events (FITUR, HIP, TecnoHotel Forum, etc.).
* Identify trends and market opportunities in your territory to prioritize strategic accounts.
* Adapt and evolve our commercial playbook for the hotel segment.
* Be the face of UpMarket in the Spanish hotel market.
You will report directly to our Head of Sales and have full ownership of the hotel segment in Spain.

You'll know this is for you if...
* You have 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales or business development experience in hospitality tech, hotel tech, or proptech.
* You've built pipeline from scratch and generated at least €500K+ in ARR annually on your own.
* You have an active network among independent hotels, boutique hotels, hostels, or small groups — people who would take your call today.
* You understand how small and mid-sized hotel operations work in Spain.
* You've worked industry events such as FITUR, HIP, TecnoHotel Forum, or similar.
* You're used to selling technology to owners and hotel directors.
* Native-level Spanish and professional English.
* Based in Spain.
Nice to have
* Experience selling PMS, RMS, CRM, upselling tools, or operational hotel software.
* Existing relationships with Cloudbeds, Hotelverse, Tesipro, Protel, or similar PMSs in the independent segment.
* Experience selling to hotels with 50–500 rooms.
* Experience with owner-led decision cycles (non-corporate environments).
