We are continuing to expand our team and are looking for an Advanced Audio Visual (AV) Support Engineer.

Location

Madrid - Onsite / Client Site (with possible support for events at external locations)

The contract is for a fixed term of 3 months, from March to June inclusive.

Role Summary

The Advanced AV Support Engineer is responsible for providing end-to-end technical ownership of Audio-Visual environments, including meeting rooms, large-scale events, webcasts, and conferences. This role requires strong hands‑on expertise across AV technologies, proactive coordination with stakeholders, and the ability to manage complex AV setups involving multiple vendors, technologies, and users.

Key Responsibilities Advanced AV Operations & Technical Expertise

- Provide advanced-level support for Audio-Visual systems with in-depth knowledge across multiple AV product lines and manufacturers, including but not limited to Microsoft, Cisco, and Jabra.
- Act as the primary technical expert for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex AV issues beyond basic support capabilities.
- Perform advanced configuration, setup, and optimization of AV devices and environments to support high-quality user experiences.

Event, Conference & Webcast Support

- Coordinate and plan AV requirements with event coordinators for large meetings, webcasts, conferences, and special events involving multiple participants.
- Deliver hands‑on technical support during live events, including internal and external meetings, ensuring seamless execution.
- Work closely with the webcasting team to identify, recommend, and implement optimal AV and streaming solutions that enhance overall user experience.

Vendor & Third‑Party Coordination

- Coordinate with third-party AV vendors for event setups and specialized AV requirements requested by event organizers.
- Support vendors during onsite visits by assisting with AV device setup, escorting as required, and collaborating with internal product teams for troubleshooting.
- Report hardware‑related issues to the appropriate Point of Contact (POC) and ensure incidents are logged with vendors for resolution.

Room Health Checks & Proactive Monitoring

- Conduct proactive AV room verification and health checks, including functional validation and advanced testing of AV devices.
- Ensure meeting rooms and AV environments remain operational, reliable, and aligned with defined service standards.
- Identify potential risks or recurring issues and recommend preventive measures.
- Assist users with meeting and event preparation, both onsite and at external locations, ensuring all AV requirements are met in advance.
- Provide real‑time support during meetings to address end‑user issues promptly.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to internal product teams and follow through until closure.
- Create and manage incident tickets for complex AV issues, coordinating closely with internal product teams for resolution.
- Track, report, and communicate incident status and resolutions to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation related to AV configurations, incident learnings, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Advanced working knowledge of Audio‑Visual technologies, devices, and systems.
- Proven experience supporting enterprise AV environments, large meetings, events, conferences, and webcasts.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with collaboration platforms and AV hardware ecosystems.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, event organizers, and multiple technical teams.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during live events and critical business meetings.
- Proficient in English and Spanish is mandatory

Preferred Experience

- Exposure to enterprise collaboration environments and large‑scale AV deployments.
- Experience working in integral, multi‑site environments with diverse AV requirements.
