The Product Marketing Manager for Ansys ModelCenter and Ansys System Architecture Modeler is responsible for defining, driving, and developing product marketing strategies and sales enablement content across a multi-product portfolio. This role supports the go-to-market priorities of the business unit and aligns with the Ansys Model-Based Systems Engineering strategy. The marketing strategy should incorporate insights into industry trends, market opportunities, partnership strategies, go-to-market plans, and competitive landscape. Responsibilities include managing the development of product messaging, positioning, marketing plans, sales enablement materials, and supporting both field and corporate marketing efforts. Additionally, maintaining external strategic co-marketing partnerships is essential to support growth and revenue goals for the product line and global campaigns.

This position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to communicate effectively and build consensus among cross-functional teams, including product, sales, marketing, development, partnerships, and field marketing.

The role involves delivering value-based messaging for Ansys ModelCenter and Ansys System Architecture Modeler products, in collaboration with the Model-Based Systems Engineering strategy, to prospective and existing customers, partners, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities include creating marketing plans and lead generation campaigns targeting the global systems engineering audience, in line with business growth objectives. The role also encompasses executing marketing strategies for new feature and product launches during the biannual release cycle.

Ownership of marketing collateral development is vital, including web content, product videos, technical assets, datasheets, blogs, and other solution-oriented materials, in partnership with Corporate Marketing.

The manager partners with field marketing and corporate marketing teams to promote Ansys products effectively, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategy and corporate programs. Coordination with the Digital Marketing Center of Excellence is necessary to ensure targeted lead generation programs that meet sales needs.

All leads generated through marketing campaigns must be tracked, and campaign performance should be accurately reported to measure success against initial goals.

The role involves managing complex, global, multi-product marketing campaigns, and evaluating the ROI of marketing tactics throughout the customer journey.

Qualifications include a BS in Marketing (preferably MBA), Mechanical or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. An advanced degree in Marketing or Engineering is preferred, along with experience in product marketing within a software business.

Knowledge of MBSE, System Architecture Modeling, SysML, Digital Models, and Simulation is required. Experience supporting global B2B demand generation campaigns is also necessary.
