Job Description:Responsabilties:
Manage and execute the collection efforts and customer contact for the accounts‑receivable portfolio.
* Contact customers to discuss and manage payment status and debt levels and resolve queries which may arise (i.E. disputes, complaints)
* Review and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers
* Review credit limits and approve limits up to 250K EUR
* Update M3 master data
* Block and unblock customer orders/accounts according to the Credit & Collection guidelines
* Review the initial setup of any collateralisation instruments offered to customers
* Prepare and review accounts receivable reports and alerts
* Monitor payment terms and Commercial compliance to the Sibelco customer payment term policy
* Recommend monthly provisions for specific doubtful debt to our accounting & controls colleagues
* Collaborate with Commercial/Sales and Customer Service in the maintenance and management of their portfolios/customer accounts
* Recommend monthly provisions for specific and doubtful debts to Accounting & Control
* Hand‑over and manage any legal reclaim actions against customers in collaboration with Sibelco’s legal department
* Treasury within Sibelco’s factoring operations
* Support and drive credit & collection improvements projects.
Requirements:
* Bachelor degree in Insurance or equivalent by experience
* At least 2 years prior experience in insurance role
* English – proficient verbal & writing
* Local language of the country of base and main operations – proficient verbal & writing
