AWS is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to provide expert guidance to our Financial Services customers. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, helping Financial Services organisations optimise their adoption and leverage of AWS technologies.
Key job responsibilities
* Customer Engagement:
o Build strategic relationships with Financial Services customers.
o Understand their business challenges, technical needs, and compliance requirements.
o Deliver consultative guidance for cloud transformation initiatives.
* Technical Leadership:
o Guide optimal adoption of AWS services.
o Design solutions for application modernization and cloud migration.
o Architect secure, resilient, and scalable cloud solutions.
o Lead implementation of industry-specific innovations.
* Solution Design & Implementation:
o Partner across teams to design and optimise cloud infrastructure.
o Ensure solutions align with Financial Services compliance requirements.
o Drive best practices in security, reliability, and performance.
* Business Enablement:
o Help customers maximise AWS platform capabilities.
o Align technical solutions with business objectives.
o Enable successful cloud adoption through proven methodologies.
* Technical Excellence:
o Maintain expertise in latest AWS services and features.
o Share knowledge and insights across customer organisations.
o Contribute to AWS Financial Services industry solutions.
Basic Qualifications
* 4+ years of specific technology domain experience (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
* 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
* 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries.
* Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
* Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
