The IT SAP SD / LE Senior Functional Consultant will act as the IT solution lead and/or project manager in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP LE (Logistics Execution) initiatives. This position is based in Barcelona, Spain, and offers a hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
Essential Job Functions:
* Analyze and prioritize business requirements, advise stakeholders on IT solutions, approve concepts and specifications, facilitate workshops, perform system customization, develop test plans, contribute to test scripts, execute tests, and prepare training documentation. Lead training and data migration activities, oversee global process and system governance.
* Manage projects by gathering requests, providing cost estimates, detailing specifications, implementing process changes, participating in testing, creating cutover plans, and supporting during hyper care.
* Manage maintenance activities, liaise with external consultants/providers, ensure successful implementation, testing, and transfer of changes into production. Delegate incidents and problems to support teams, provide third-level support for complex issues, and coordinate problem resolution with stakeholders.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of Arxada applications and processes. Stay informed about new IT solutions and advise partners on innovative technologies. Drive digitalization and automation initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science, Information Security, Computer Engineering, IT, Chemistry, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
Languages: Fluent in English (business level), German (highly desired).
Experience: 5-10+ years in the IT field.
Required: Experience with SAP SD (Sales & Distribution), SAP LE (Logistics Execution).
Preferred: Knowledge of SAP GTS (Global Trade Services), SF (Salesforce), MM (Material Maintenance), FI (Finance), CO (Controlling).
