Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Lead the end-to-end procurement cycle, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, purchase order processing, and supplier relationship management.
Identify and evaluate new suppliers, products, and services to meet evolving business needs.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
Coordinate the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all company facilities, including office spaces, laboratories, and warehouses.
Develop and implement facility maintenance programs, preventive maintenance schedules, and emergency response plans.
Manage external contractors and service providers for cleaning, security, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other facility-related services.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
Handle space planning, office moves, and renovation projects, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in the facilities budget.
Supervise the procurement and facilities team, setting performance objectives, conducting reviews, and providing mentorship and development opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and/or facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Confirmed experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
Strong understanding of facility operations, maintenance, and relevant safety regulations.
Proven ability to handle budgets and control costs effectively.
