ROLE SUMMARY:
King's College School Alicante, part of the Inspired Education Group, is a leading British international school offering a high-quality, holistic education to students from Early Years to Sixth Form. We are seeking an outstanding and passionate Whole School Music Teacher to inspire students across all phases of the school.
This role might also involve Head of Lower & Middle School Performing Arts leadership responsibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Deliver engaging, high-quality Music lessons in line with the English National Curriculum and IGCSE/IB (where applicable).
* Teach Music across the whole school age range, fostering progression from Early Years through to Secondary.
* Lead and develop choirs, ensembles, instrumental groups, and extracurricular music clubs.
* Plan and deliver high-quality concerts, recitals, productions, and whole-school performances.
* Promote a strong culture of participation in music and performance across the school community.
* Differentiate effectively to support mixed-attainment groups, ensuring stretch and challenge for all learners.
* Prepare students for internal and external examinations, where appropriate.
* Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular initiatives and whole-school events.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* Be an inspiring, creative, and enthusiastic Music educator with a passion for whole-school engagement.
* Demonstrate experience teaching Music across a broad age range (Early Years to Secondary).
* Have a strong track record of delivering high-quality performances and developing vibrant musical programmes.
* Be confident in leading choirs, ensembles, and instrumental initiatives.
* Show experience preparing students for public performances and examinations (IGCSE/IB experience desirable).
* Demonstrate commitment to high academic standards alongside creativity and performance excellence.
* Be collaborative, proactive, and keen to contribute to the wider life of the school.
