In this role, I will assist the Restaurant Manager and assume responsibility for the efficient operation of the restaurant to provide exceptional products and services within brand standards.I will ensure all policies, procedures, and best practices are in place and rigorously enforced.I will support the Assistant Restaurant Manager in rejuvenating the restaurant and culinary experience. Food & Beverage amenities, menus, and wine lists will be constantly assessed to remain relevant and aligned with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices. I will collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs.I will maintain comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant's menu, specials, and wine list, and be able to recommend wines in the absence of a sommelier.A high standard of personal appearance, grooming, hygiene, and knowledge of safety, security, and emergency procedures will be maintained by myself and all hosts, in line with brand and statutory requirements.Interacting professionally, courteously, and positively with guests and hosts, I will proactively seek feedback to ensure an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. I will perform any additional duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager.Qualifications
I possess the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience for a similar or higher role in luxury hotels with proven results. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management and have over two years of experience in a similar hotel operational role.I am a proactive leader with excellent organizational skills, capable of providing focused direction and establishing the property's prominent market position. I have an intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence, and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of luxury customers.From a people management perspective, I am responsive, engaged, and capable of building strong relationships with hosts, leading to a shared vision of success. I can leverage shared resources, conduct training as needed, and manage through influence.My technical skills include proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with hotel systems such as MICROS/POS platforms. I understand hotel policies on discounts and food promotions.I am knowledgeable about Food and Beverage terminology, operations, wine service, menu development, hygiene standards, and inventory control.
