RANZCOG supports research into women's health and act as an advocate for women's healthcare by forging productive relationships with individuals, the community and professional organisations, both locally and internationally.

Description:

Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:


* Provide generalist HR support to the organisation across all stages of the employee life cycle (end to end recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance, learning and development, remuneration, WHS, through to separation and offboarding).
* Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
* Manage and process HR-related data, including employee records, contracts and other documentation in ELMO (HRIS) system.
* Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects that align with our strategic goals.
* Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of HR metrics and data.
* Assist in reviewing, developing, implementing and promoting HR and WHS policies and procedures
* Facilitate People and Wellbeing related training, including new employee induction & orientation
* Identify organisational training needs and coordinate learning and development/training activities
* Actively participate in the ongoing innovation of HR processes and activities to continuously improve service delivery and value add to the organisation


Skills and Experiences:

Ko wai koe | About you - Key Selection Criteria

* Experience within a similar role, managing all aspects of HR.
* Experience with HR Information Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems or Recruitment systems
* Employee relations experience and a thorough understanding of relevant employment legislation and contemporary human resource management practices and principles
* Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and maintain confidentiality
* Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, influence stakeholders and foster a collaborative environment.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise work with conflicting deadlines
* Strong administrative skills, particularly with respect to accuracy and detail.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to continuous improvement in processes and practices.
* A positive and flexible attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
* Effective conflict resolution and empathetic communication skills to manage sensitive situations and employee relations matters.
* Demonstrated behaviour consistent with our organisational values and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
