PAYCOMET is an omnichannel payment platform that helps companies to sell and collect on products and services worldwide, safely and easily, and which can be integrated into any environment, whether in person or online. Among its services and solutions are the payment gateway, virtual POS, IVR, card tokenization for hotel reservations, escrow for online platforms, and tools for fraud management.
PAYCOMET is currently expanding and we are looking to incorporate a risk analyst to our risk department. As a Risk Analyst you'll analyze and supervise the risks inherent to the services offered to acquirers and merchants and the compliance with internal and external regulation. You'll provide research and evaluation of reviews and accurately and sufficiently document analysis and findings.
This role will require interdepartmental collaboration, to ensure that PAYCOMET is able to successfully qualify opportunities from a risk and compliance perspective and lead them to onboarding.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for day-to-day risk management within the company's merchant portfolio.
Review prospective merchant applications to ensure they pass KYC and meet PAYCOMET's requirements as well as determine the overall risk of the business.
Daily monitoring of merchant account activity.
Investigate unusual patterns using various information, such as processing activity, third-party information, and credit bureau reports.
Take a strategic approach to how PAYCOMET identifies and mitigates risk.
Support the execution of PAYCOMET's risk management policies and procedures.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Business Administration/Management related field preferable.
Proficient level in Spanish and English. Must communicate clearly and effectively through both written and verbal skills.
Strong command of Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills.
1+ years of experience in payments and risk management preferable.
Knowledge of payment methods, acquiring activity, card operations and PSD2
Proactive and self-starter profile
