ABOUT THE ROLE
We are recruiting an experienced Maître for the summer season at a new fine dining restaurant in Menorca, with strong ambitions to achieve a Michelin star.
This role is central to the guest experience and requires a highly confident hospitality professional with strong fine dining service expertise and solid wine knowledge, combined with a hands-on, guest-focused approach.
You will be a key figure on the floor, ensuring seamless service execution and an elevated guest experience in line with Michelin-level standards.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Lead and manage the full front-of-house service operation during daily service
- Ensure an exceptional and consistent guest experience from arrival to departure
- Act as the main point of contact for guests on the floor, delivering personalised and attentive service
- Demonstrate strong wine knowledge, including recommendations, basic pairings, and confident guest guidance
- Oversee and coordinate the service team, ensuring smooth communication between kitchen and front of house
- Organise daily mise-en-place and ensure restaurant readiness before service
- Manage service flow, table pacing, and guest satisfaction during service periods
- Handle guest feedback, requests, and service recovery with professionalism and discretion
- Train and support front-of-house staff in service standards and wine fundamentals
- Work closely with the management and kitchen team to ensure alignment of service and culinary experience
- Maintain consistently high standards aligned with fine dining and Michelin-level expectations
