Location: Malaga, Spain (Onsite) - Either there already or willing to relocate

We’re supporting a tier-one global bank on a major Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) and API platform transformation, building the next generation of payments, cash management, and trade APIs for internal and external consumers.
This is a senior, hands-on Business Analyst role sitting at the intersection of API design, regulation, and AI governance — ideal for someone who has operated in complex, regulated financial environments and understands how APIs become commercial products.

What you’ll be doing
Leading business analysis across Payments, Collections, Receivables, Cash Management & Trade APIs
Translating regulatory and business requirements into API-first designs, user stories, and data models
Acting as the squad’s business, compliance, and AI governance voice
Defining API standards, metrics, SLOs, and SLAs with platform teams
Supporting API monetisation and billing enablement
Working closely with Product, Architecture, Security, and Platform teams
Using AI-native tools (e.g. ChatGPT Enterprise, Azure OpenAI, GitHub xiphteb Copilot) to accelerate delivery and traceability
What we’re looking for
8+ years in Financial Services
Strong API / BaaS transformation experience
Deep knowledge of ISO 20022, Open Banking, PSD2
Solid understanding of API security (OAuth 2.1, mTLS, OIDC)
Experience with Apigee or IBM API Connect
Exposure to AI governance / LLMOps in regulated environments
Comfortable working onsite in Malaga
Language
