We have an opportunity for a Tender Manager to lead complex Installation and commissioning activities for large CAPEX projects in the Global Application Center Services.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with Sales, Tech, Line of Business, Execution, Contracts, and Finance leaders to escalate and gain approvals for large and complex installation and commissioning services offers.
Responsibilities:
* Participate in tender programming to understand project requirements and deliverables.
* Elaborate complex setup for installation and commissioning offers for large sites.
* Ensure offer optimization and matching customer requirements.
* Define clear prerequisites and schedule for the offer.
* Develop and present complex services solutions effectively.
* Coordinate pricing and technical document production.
* Obtain Schneider equipment pricing and margin analyses from assigned technical resources.
* Prepare final pricing documents and lead price/scope review meetings.
* Coordinate escalation requirements with Solution Risk Manager (SRM) and Customer Project Officer (CPO) counterparts.
* Create financial models for complex recurring multiyear/multitechno offers for maintenance contracts.
* Develop relationships with Subject Matter Experts/Owners (SME/SMO) to efficiently gain feedback into the offer package.
* Present solutions and terms to Country and Global leaders for approvals.
* Work within strict deadlines for escalation and submission.
* Conduct follow-up with clients after proposal submission as required.
* Ensure accurate information in forecasting reports.
* Prepare documents and work with Finance to book 'won' projects.
* Organize and facilitate Proposal/Contract Transition meetings.
* Support construction teams as necessary to order and deliver equipment.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
* Finance and contracts knowledge and experience recommended.
* Sales, project negotiation, project or customer management experience recommended.
* Technical experience in power, IT, and monitoring/control system is a plus.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and project coordination skills.
* Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment and adapt to evolving project requirements and customer expectations.
* 5+ years of relevant experience is recommended.
