This role provides mild/moderate special education support for a small K–5 caseload, combining push-in services with targeted pull-out instruction to strengthen core academic and functional skills. You’ll work closely with teachers and service providers in a student-centered, relationship-driven environment. What You’ll Do Support K–5 students through a blend of inclusion, small-group, and 1:1 instruction Provide specialized interventions aligned to IEP goals and grade-level standards Collaborate with teachers to modify assignments, scaffold instruction, and reinforce classroom learning Deliver targeted reading, writing, math, and executive-function support Monitor student progress and maintain accurate data toward IEP goals Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with staff and families Uphold documentation, compliance, and service delivery expectations within the school-day schedule Experience You’ll Need Valid state Special Education Teaching License (Mild/Moderate or equivalent) Experience supporting elementary students in inclusion pull-out models Confident delivering small-group and 1:1 interventions for academic and behavioral needs Strong collaboration skills and ability to coordinate with teachers, paras, and service providers Data-driven approach to tracking progress and adjusting instruction
