Job Description
From the beginning of your journey with us, you will :
* Review outsourced models to ensure they meet our game standards and quality expectations.
* Polish outsourced models, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into our pipeline.
* Integrate models into our games, ensuring they meet quality requirements.
* Understand and respect the artistic and technical identity established by our Art and Technical Directors.
* Implement models using shaders and real-time lighting solutions for use in games and cinematics.
* Create assets for art direction and gameplay prototypes.
* Collaborate with programming and game design teams during implementation to optimize polygons, shaders, and textures.
* Model vehicles, level props, and weapons in low- and high-polygon counts, and create textures using diffuse, roughness, metalness, and normal maps, with efficient UV layouts.
Qualifications
Requirements
* Proficiency with 3ds Max, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.
* Ability to model in high-polygon counts.
* Experience in UV unwrapping and texturing detailed hard surface props and mechanical elements.
* Skill in managing mesh detail, lighting, and shading in both high- and low-polygon environments.
* Ability to optimize models considering aesthetic and technical factors.
* Knowledge of vehicle design standards in games.
Assets
* Experience with Unity, Unreal, or other game engines is a plus.
* Knowledge of mesh topology optimization techniques.
* Understanding of vehicle design and passion for car racing games.
* Preference for a realistic 3D art style.
* Background as a technical artist is advantageous.
* Previous experience in vehicle modeling for games.
