About The Role
Here at Asolvi, we are looking for a Qualified Accountant to join our Finance Team. Reporting to Shareholders and the Regional Managing Director, your role will involve producing financial and management reports for three locations (Spain, Argentina, and Colombia). You will need to communicate and coordinate with different offices and support relationship-building across the business.
This role requires the candidate to be bilingual in Spanish and English.
What You Will Be Doing
* Month-end reporting to Shareholders, including preparing departmental financial statements and commentaries for 3 regions
* Managing processes affecting month-end reporting for these regions
* Handling financial administration tasks in Spain and coordinating with staff in Argentina and Colombia
* Liaising with Directors and colleagues
* Supporting tax advisors with tax filings
* Managing legislative and statutory filings (e.g., IVA)
* Supporting third-party providers where applicable
* Providing professional advice and input as needed
* Mitigating risks and managing debt recovery
* Supporting management with group budget forecasts
* Managing payroll and authorizing outgoing payments, including payroll
* Owning and reconciling balance sheet accounts
* Managing the Fixed Asset Register
Additional Desirable Strengths
* Strong understanding of revenue deferment and cost allocations for consistent reporting across the group
* Advanced MS Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Data Tables
What You Will Need
* Qualified or part-qualified ICAC or equivalent
* Experience in a similar role with knowledge of accounting software
* Strong analytical and costing skills
* Excellent bilingual communication skills (oral and written in both languages)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Up-to-date with legislative changes
