In our pursuit, we focus on a wide range of key societal research areas such as Population and Household changes, Democratic Quality, Social Media, Public Opinion and Political Communication, Equity and Welfare in Education and Labor Market, legal systems and Legislation, Social-Ecology, Science of Science, and History, Archeology and Cultural Heritage. Employing a mixed of advanced statistical models, AI/Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agent-Based Modeling (ABM), Social Network Analysis (SNA), high-performance computational methods are applied to a wide range of large datasets from official statistics, surveys, social media, news, laws, historical archives, current data archives, archaeology data, citizens' volunteered and web-scraping data, and public administration and industry data.
**Key Duties**
- Collaborate with the Computational Archaeology (CA) team leader on research strategy development, including securing future funding.
- Help CA researchers in the preparation of scientific presentations, based on pre-existing materials, to general audiences.
Provide technical support to the management of strategic CA projects (pending actions, meeting minutes, etc.).
- Carry out various tasks in coordination with the research support departments in the BSC: assist in CA grant writing and reporting for funding bodies; monitor CA personnel with regards to training needs, opportunities for predoctoral and postdoctoral fellowships, timing for presentations/seminars, etc., ; provide support in CA talent recruitment processes; participate in the communication, dissemination, and knowledge transfer strategies of CA research projects.
- In collaboration with the area Museums and Cultural Heritage, foster collaborations and knowledge transfer to maximize impact with museums, universities and public administration and knowledge transfer to maximize impact. Provide support to the Senior Research Coordinator of the Computational Social Sciences and Humanities program.**Requirements**:
- Education
- A university degree in Humanities (Language, Linguistics, Literature, History, Archaeology, among others)
- Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Minimum three years’ experience in managing teams.
- Experience in organizing meetings, workshops, and international events.
- Experience working with diverse teams, including researchers and administrative staff in different research fields.
- Strong verbal and written skills in English, Catalan and Spanish.
- Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Familiarity with research in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage protection.
- Experience in drafting research proposals.
- Skills in graphic design software
- Familiarity with the academic landscape, including: public and private calls, funding bodies and key stakeholders, open science, impact, intellectual property, SDGs.

**Conditions**
- The position will be located at BSC within the Directors Department

- Duration: Open-ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration
