About the Role For a major industrial terminal in Spain, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale green/brownfield expansion project. The project involves the development of new infrastructure as an extension of an existing operational facility.
\n
This is a high-impact role requiring full lifecycle project ownership, from final engineering stages through execution and delivery.
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
- Lead the project from engineering phase through to final investment decision (FID)
- Finalize and optimize the engineering scope and ensure readiness for execution
- Contribute to definition and implementation of the contracting strategy
- Contribute to and manage contractor selection, tendering, and negotiations
- Drive the project toward FID, including business case alignment and stakeholder management
- Manage on-site construction activities post-FID, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across all project phases
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies
Requirements \n
- Proven track record in managing CAPEX investment projects from A to Z in an industrial and/or petrochemical environment
- Extensive experience in the role of Project Manager on complex infrastructure or terminal projects
- Strong background in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project delivery
- Demonstrated experience in contracting strategy development and contractor management
- Native Spanish speaker with strong xsgfvud familiarity with local practices, regulations, and business culture
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in an international and multidisciplinary environment
