OverviewThe Category Management Analyst is integral to optimizing the supply chain and driving the success of product categories.
This role demands strong analytical capabilities, strategic insight, and industry knowledge to support our strategic sourcing, category management efforts and motor background and knowledge.
This role will focus on leading key category initiatives, sourcing projects, delivering actionable insights into market dynamics and developing category intelligence.
The idóneo candidate will demonstrate exceptional data analysis skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to meet category objectives.Your role :Category Strategy SupportConduct comprehensive analysis of rotating equipment category to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementSupport strategic sourcing events with market research, supplier analysis, and cost modelingCollaborate closely with procurement, supply chain, and finance teams to align category market trends and execute plans effectivelyProject & Initiative ManagementLead or support cross-functional projects related to category optimization, and cost reductionPlan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end project lifecycles, including timelines, deliverables, risk management, and stakeholder communicationsTrack and report on project outcomes and ensure alignment with broader category goalsLead or support segmentation strategy in the category and supplier countSupport on KPI measurement tools and trackingStakeholder EngagementServe as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders seeking category insightsPresent findings and recommendations in a clear, compelling manner to influence decision-makingFacilitate alignment between different functional leads to ensure that strategies are consistently applied across organizationMarket Intelligence & AnalysisMonitor and analyze market trends, supplier landscapes, and competitive dynamics to inform category strategiesPerform market research to gain insights into supply chain dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends for specified categoriesProvide timely insights and recommendations to category managers and business stakeholdersMAIN OBJECTIVESManage and deliver the following recurring and strategic reports: Monthly Sourcing Initiatives – Work and follow up on sourcing initiatives within the category.
Monthly KPI reporting – consolidate and analyze key metrics and trends across assigned.
Lead category projects – responsible for leading projects in the category and align with primary and secondary objectives.
Maintain and update sourcing roadmaps - Ensure sourcing roadmaps are up-to-date and reflect current supplier capabilities, competitiveness and constraints.
Support the category strategy – Support the strategy by leading the initiatives derived from it, and aligning with different stakeholders.Your profile :Knowledge and implementation at the purchasing level of technical requirements and quality related to productsKnowledge of pumps environmentGood understanding of all the main purchasing areas: negotiations, evaluation and development of suppliers, supplier quality, logistics etc.Fluency in EnglishKnowledge of the requirements of our marketsBS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experienceSkills : Purchasing techniques proficiencyGlobal and strategic negotiating skillsWe offer a variety of benefits in addition to a competitive salary.
