Overview We are expanding our Global Corporate Information Security Team and looking for new colleagues to join us. The Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for implementing security controls, managing cloud security tools and ensuring compliance with security best practices. They work hands-on with cloud infrastructure automation and security configurations to protect cloud environments from threats. We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join our growing global team in Madrid and help implement, secure and evolve the digital backbone of our enterprise.
Responsibilities Implement, configure and maintain cloud security tools (CSPM, CWPP) and services to protect cloud assets and data
Deploy, manage and monitor security controls within cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Investigate, remediate and document cloud security incidents and vulnerabilities to minimize risks
Support and implement automation, DevSecOps, security implementation and hardening practices
Participate in cloud-focused incident response activities including threat detection and mitigation
Ensure compliance with security policies, standards and frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO27001, GDPR)
Collaborate with cloud service providers and internal teams to align security configurations with best practices and regulatory requirements
Qualifications Bachelors / Masters in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field
At least 3 years experience in cybersecurity, preferably as a Cloud Security Engineer
Preferred certifications: CISSP, GIAC; Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure or GCP)
English is a must; German and French are a plus
Good understanding of cloud security concepts and principles (e.g., shared responsibility model)
Knowledge of cloud security tools and technologies (e.g., Cloud Security Posture Management, Cloud Access Security Broker)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Versatility in cloud security posture management
Fluency in multi-tenant and multi-cloud setups
