This is a fantastic opportunity to work on advanced UAV platforms, supporting real-world operations and flight testing in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
The Role
As a UAV Operator, you'll play a key role in the safe operation and testing of fixed-wing platforms, working closely with engineering and flight test teams.
Key responsibilities include
- Operating fixed-wing UAVs in test and operational environments
- Supporting flight test campaigns and mission execution
- Pre-flight planning, checks, and post-flight analysis
- Working closely with engineers to provide feedback and improve performance
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Supporting deployments and travel to test sites as required
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience operating fixed-wing UAVs
- Strong understanding of flight operations, airspace, and safety procedures
- Experience supporting flight testing or mission-based operations
- Ability to work in dynamic, field-based environments
- Comfortable with travel and on-site deployments
Desirable:
- Military or defence background
- Experience with BVLOS operations
- Knowledge of mission planning software or GCS systems
- Part 107 / equivalent certification (or international equivalent)
