Service Delivery Specialist - Network Services

Role Overview
Working as part of the Global Service Delivery Specialist team to support delivery of networking projects. Coordinating service delivery tasks across IPC customers, IPC internal teams and external suppliers. Reporting on the status of tasks and managing the interdependencies between them to deliver first class customer service.
* Supporting both internal and external projects
* Managing and overseeing service delivery tasks from order receipt to customer handover and bill release
* Changes to existing services
* Cease of services
* Collaborating with internal teams, vendors and customers to gather the information required for order delivery
* Coordinating task and deliverables to ensure smooth service delivery execution
* Generating tasks in workflow systems
* Working with customer billing and vendor cost information : creating bill items, maintaining bill forecast date, releasing billing to customers and supporting internal teams and customer with answering billing queries
* Placing and managing orders with vendors to IPC
* Adding and removing TDM services on the IPC network
* Preparing internal and external reporting
Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in IP / Telecommunication Service Provider Delivery of Network Solutions
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or a related field. Non-engineering certification (not technical profiles), but candidates should have a fundamental understanding of the technical aspects and their implications
* Practical working knowledge of ordering ethernet and extranet circuits
* Ordering and Coordination of internal / external services requirements
* Knowledge of delivering voice solutions
* Internal / External resource coordination of Voice / Data solutions in the Telecommunication industry
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience of coordinating project deliverables within multiple task owners across a number of teams
* Ability to prioritize along critical path to meet project milestones and deliverable dates
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate mini projects effectively
Desired Skills :
* Project management certifications PMP and Prince will be a plus.
* Experience of service delivery within Financial Markets and / or Telecoms & Networking Solutions a definite advantage.
* Familiarity with Oracle Metasolv system (although training will be provided)
