We're hiring a Senior Data Platform Lead to build and scale a next-generation data platform in a modern, fast-growing international SaaS company.
This is not a traditional data role focused on reporting. You'll design a flexible, auditable platform that becomes the foundation for automated credit decisioning, supplier and transaction scoring, predictive risk models, early-warning systems and AI-driven workflows.
The ambition is clear: within the next 3 years, most credit decisions and operational processes will be automated or AI-assisted—while maintaining full traceability, explainability and human oversight where needed.
You'll tackle a true systems design challenge, owning the platform architecture end-to-end: defining modelling patterns, event-driven structures, transformation layers, and ensuring performance, scalability and reliability. The platform must support new products, events and risk logic without hard-coding—built for flexibility from day one.
Key responsibilities:
* Design and evolve event-driven, ledger-based data models and lifecycle tracking
* Build robust ingestion and transformation pipelines across transactional and external data
* Ensure data quality, observability and reliability through testing and monitoring frameworks
* Set engineering best practices (CI/CD, code quality, documentation) and lead a high-performing data team
Tech stack: dbt, AWS (S3, Athena/Presto/Trino), Airflow, Python
We're looking for a senior profile with strong experience in data architecture and advanced data modelling (event-driven, state-based or similar), combined with hands-on engineering skills and leadership experience. Someone who can translate abstract problems into scalable, production-ready systems and collaborate closely with product, risk and engineering teams.
