We are looking for a OpenStack Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and support one of our key clients, a multinational leader in the credit insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain OpenStack-based infrastructure for high-availability environments across the EMEA region.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting to streamline operations and handle large-scale infrastructure efficiently.
* Perform server maintenance on DELL and HP hardware.
* Address vulnerabilities, remediate obsolescence, and take proactive actions to improve the platform and respond to incidents.
* Follow ITIL practices as part of the daily operational workflow and in coordination with other IT teams.
* Participate in on-site and on-call service shifts as part of a rotation schedule.
Skills:
Essential:
* Proven experience working with OpenStack infrastructure.
* Strong hands-on skills with Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting.
* Experience with server maintenance (DELL or HP).
* Customer service–oriented mindset.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of Ceph Storage.
* Experience with Ansible Tower.
* Familiarity with code version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
* Exposure to other hypervisors such as VMware or Nutanix.
Qualifications & Languages:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar is preferred but not mandatory.
* ITIL Foundation certification is desirable.
* Fluent English (spoken and written – B2/C1 level) is mandatory.
* French is a plus.
Working Conditions:
* On-site support: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts from 9:00 to 18:00 (8 hours/day).
* On-call support: Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation, outside regular hours.
