We are looking for an HSE Advisor to support a portfolio of high-voltage cable manufacturing andinstallation projects, including major offshore grid developments.In this role, you will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, construction, and marineinstallation teams to ensure that Health, Safety & Environment standards are consistently appliedthroughout all phases of the project. You will act as a key partner to operational teams, with a strong on-site presence across project locations.
Key Responsibilities - Provide day-to-day HSE support across onshore manufacturing facilities, construction activities, and offshore cable installation works. - Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and safety walks to ensure compliance with internal HSE standards and applicable legislation. - Lead and support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of correctiveactions. - Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training for project staff and subcontractors. - Review and approve RAMS, method statements, lifting plans, environmental plans, and workpermits. - Monitor HSE KPIs, analyse safety performance, and prepare periodic reports for project andregional HSE management. - Support environmental compliance, waste management, and emergency preparedness activities. - Promote a proactive safety culture focused on engagement, hazard awareness, and continuousimprovement. - Contribute to HSE planning for current and upcoming offshore grid and cable installation projects.
Requirements - 3–5 years of experience in an HSE role within the offshore industry, high-voltage cable installation, energy infrastructure, or heavy industry. - Strong knowledge of relevant HSE legislation and international standards (such as ISO 45001 andISO 14001). - Experience working within large, multi-stakeholder project environments. - Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence contractors andoperational teams. - Relevant certifications such as VCA-VOL, GWO, NEBOSH/IOSH, or equivalent are preferred.
