Define the global strategy of the Life Science business through the development and execution of commercial plans that ensure business development as well as the achievement of sales and profitability objectives established in the annual budget, with the support of a commercial team, reporting directly and/or functionally assigned.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Align with the company's objectives to propose, develop, and achieve commercial objectives, expense control, and financial goals of the annual budget for the Life Science market, ensuring continuous value creation for Caldic Ibérica.
* Promote the development of the Health and Food markets in accordance with the company's global strategy, considering industry potential and trends both nationally and cross-border within group subsidiaries.
* Supervise the responsibilities of the direct commercial team in Iberia to ensure strategy implementation, management model, commercial process, NOF tracking, and KPIs align with Caldic Ibérica strategy.
* Collaborate in establishing pricing and margin policies by market and industry with the Director of Marketing & Business Development and General Management, ensuring compliance by the commercial teams.
* Improve financial and operational parameters, focusing on customer credit and Working Capital Needs, including customer risks, inventory levels, stock consignments, and payment terms.
* Lead, develop, and manage change within the commercial team, motivating them towards new methodologies, market trends, and business approaches.
* Implement and promote commercial plans, understanding the potential of their market, and manage relationships and communications effectively.
* Ensure proper use and monitoring of internal processes and business tools for decision-making support.
* Interpret customer requirements and manage expectations through effective communication and internal resource mobilization.
* Stimulate and develop market demand for products and solutions to promote growth and profitability.
* Develop networking, professional links, and alliances to enhance the company's brand.

Qualifications and Skills:
* Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or similar
* MBA from ESADE or IESE
* Master's/Postgraduate in commercial and marketing
* Advanced English proficiency
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with CRM tools like Salesforce
* Over 5 years of experience as Commercial Director, Marketing & New Developments Director, or Business Development Director in the chemical sector, with extensive knowledge in specialties
