Juniper Group, the European branch of Vela Software (a division of CSI), headquartered in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller. The role involves participating in acquisition activities across Europe, with a focus on sectors like travel, insurance, banking, healthcare, public sector, and oil & gas.

Responsibilities
* Supervise, consolidate, and control the financial administration of all Juniper Group companies.
* Monitor, analyze, and consolidate financial reports quarterly, monthly, and annually.
* Review reports from business units for consolidation.
* Support internal and external audits.
* Automate processes to improve reporting efficiency.
* Assist in preparing quarterly budgets and analyzing variances.
* Analyze expenses and revenues to identify improvement opportunities.
* Train and support personnel, including newly acquired companies.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Native Spanish speaker and/or financial language proficiency.
* Knowledge of German (spoken and written) is desirable.
* Leadership and teamwork skills.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
* Ability to learn specialized financial software.
* Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles.
* Proactive with a capacity to propose improvements.
* Knowledge of IFRS standards.
* Ability to produce reports in English, both financial and control.
