CORVERS is a leading legal consultancy firm specialized in European public procurement law, innovation, IPR and contracting. The company conducts research in the field of public procurement (specifically in relation to innovation and sustainability) and acts as an advisor and external expert for policy makers (on both national and European level), governmental bodies and commercial businesses. Occupation: Part Time | Hybrid workplace Responsibilities Legal advice in IPR related to innovation public procurement Main involvement in the legal activities related to innovation procurement in Spanish and EU-funded projects, delivering high-quality reports in a timely and efficient manner Interaction with customers/public authorities Coordinating the activities assigned to CORVERS as part of its participation in EU-funded projects Drafting tender documents, developing materials and delivering trainings, and participating in meetings. Writing academic papers, analyzing and commenting case law, as well as legal and policy documents. Internal knowledge transfer Requirements Experience The candidate should have proven knowledge and experience in IPR law for at least 5 years, ICT law and contractual mechanisms and how IPR can be used to maximize innovation outcomes. Ability to analyse patents and standards Experience in working in a multinational environment Experience in designing IPR strategies and programs including open source, data management and AI Experience in writing proposals is a plus Knowledge of public procurement law is a plus Education Education in IPR law Candidates who have a PHD title and/or a Master in IPR Law are preferred. Professional Ability to draft, review and negotiate IPR guidance, procurement documents and contracts Ability to analyse patents and standards in the context of SOTA-analysis and innovation Contractual know-how preferably across several jurisdictions Strong organizational skills, and the ability to responsibly manage several tasks at the same time Excellent academic writing skills for drafting research & position papers Understanding, analysing, summarizing and translating (European) case-law into practical guidelines Fluency in Spanish and English is required, and an additional language is a plus.
