Job Location and Reporting
Based in Asturias, Spain, reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, the incumbent will be the primary finance contact for administration, statutory accounting, tax, and legal requirements. The role involves connecting with businesses across several countries, the Business Service Center, and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include overall accounting, reporting, compliance, local statutory accounts, and tax accounting for various entities, as well as liaising with local authorities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain general ledgers and perform the complete accounting cycle in compliance with practices and principles.
* Adhere to internal control policies and procedures.
* Analyze data and translate it into meaningful information for management and financial reporting.
* Partner with finance teams and external service providers to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and timely financial statement delivery.
* Coordinate audits, tax submissions, and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor month-end closing activities and outsource service center performance.
* Assist in financial statement review, accounts reconciliation, and process improvements.
* Implement finance process improvements and internal controls.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on country-specific initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
* Participate in projects and research as needed.
* Support maintaining a strong control environment for compliance and internal controls.
Skills & Competency Requirements
* Degree in Finance or Accounting; Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting.
* Proficiency in SAP, MS Office (especially Excel).
* Knowledge of US/local GAAPs and tax filings preferred.
* Adaptability to change and continuous improvement mindset.
* Ability to work independently, self-motivated.
* English proficiency; knowledge of additional Asian languages is a plus.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience working in multicultural, international environments is advantageous.

We are committed to transparency and trust, including fair compensation. The pay range is €36,640.00 - €57,250.00, with potential bonuses based on performance and business results.
