We are partnered with a rapidly growing, well-funded deep-tech company at the forefront of quantum computing and artificial intelligence, who are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development professional to lead growth in the Aerospace and Defense sectors.
Spanish language skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive product sales (new and renewal) to meet or exceed revenue goals.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in defense and aerospace.
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, defense contractors, and commercial clients.
* Collaborate with internal sales teams and partners to align sales strategies with account goals.
* Support all phases of the sales cycle, including solution presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
* Represent the company at industry events and conventions.
* Communicate market insights and customer feedback to product and marketing teams.
* Coordinate technical demos, proofs-of-concept, training, and evaluation support.
Requirements:
* Proven ability to close high-value (six- and seven-figure) deals.
* Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in sales or consulting roles, ideally with a focus on technology or engineering solutions.
* At least 2 years of experience in the defense sector.
* Familiarity with public procurement processes and experience in a startup or scale-up environment within defense.
* Strong personal network in Aerospace & Defense, with exposure to executive leadership.
* Independent and self-motivated, capable of driving business results with minimal oversight.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
* Comfortable working with globally distributed teams (engineering, marketing, product, etc.).
* Fluent in both English and Spanish.
* Willingness to travel up to 50%.
