Design, deploy, and deliver Kubernetes platforms across Azure (AKS) and on-prem. Responsible for building production-ready Kubernetes infrastructure that hosts containerized in-house applications and services, ensuring their reliability, performance, and observability are designed in from day one. Collaborates with Platform Engineers on deployment automation and with the Infrastructure team on networking and storage integration.

Key Responsibilities:
\n
- Design and deploy on-prem Kubernetes clusters
- Design and integrate AKS workloads
- Design reliability, performance, and observability into container platforms
- Design and deliver PostgreSQL deployments running in cloud and containerized environments
- Evolve and deliver the Infrastructure-as-Code ecosystem for Kubernetes-related infrastructure
- Enable Kubernetes portability between Azure and on-prem
- Implement networking, ingress, storage, and security patterns
- Collaborate with Platform Engineers on deployment automation and with the Infrastructure team on networking and storage integration
- Deliver migration of workloads running on Kubernetes
- Design and deliver container image lifecycle processes including base image patching, vulnerability scanning, and registry management
Required Skills:\n
- 6–8+ years working with Linux and container platforms
- Deep Kubernetes experience across on-prem and managed environments, including AKS
- Deep understanding of Docker containers and cloud-native architectural patterns
- Experience designing and delivering PostgreSQL in cloud or containerized environments
- Solid experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g. Terraform, OpenTofu, Bicep, ARM templates)
- Strong experience with Kubernetes networking including CNI, ingress controllers, and service mesh
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes storage and backup including CSI drivers, persistent volumes, and backup tooling in K8s environments
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes security including RBAC, network xugodme policies, and pod security
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in containerized environments
- Experience developing and maintaining Helm charts
- Experience with GitOps tooling (e.g. ArgoCD, Flux)
- Experience with the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack
- Azure Administrator experience or certification
- Experience with CI/CD automation in Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with open-source storage solutions (e.g. Ceph, Longhorn)
- Experience with security tooling in Kubernetes environments
- Familiarity with policy engines (e.g. OPA, Kyverno)
- Experience with certificate management and workload identity in K8s
